Pitched-Roof Alfresco & BBQ Entertaining Area
A custom pitched-roof alfresco entertaining area with an integrated BBQ zone, built to extend a Croydon family home into the backyard for year-round outdoor living, cooking and gatherings.
The Challenge
The homeowners wanted a permanent, weather-protected entertaining space that felt like a natural extension of their home rather than a standalone structure, with room for a full BBQ setup, dining and lounge seating — all on an existing backyard with limited cover.
The Solution
We designed and built a pitched-roof alfresco that ties into the home's roofline, lined the ceiling for a finished indoor feel, and created a dedicated BBQ and food-prep zone with stone benchtops and integrated appliances, plus durable decking and lighting for seamless day-to-night entertaining.
